With the fall TV season fast approaching, networks are making their final decisions on renewals and cancellations for its summer series.
Despite being cut down to one night a week and still posting viewer losses, FOX renewed “So You Think You Can Dance” Tuesday, the same night the season 10 winners were announced.
Meanwhile, The Futon Critic reports that the axe has once again fallen on AMC’s controversial “The Killing,” which was unexpectedly brought back for a third season due to a deal with Netflix.
Unfortunately, the ratings did not improve despite a revamped cast that included the addition of Peter Sarsgaard, so the partnership of Linden and Holder is no more.
Lastly, TLC has saved another resurrected series from suffering the same fate, opting to renew the Lisa Kudrow-produced “Who Do You Think You Are?”
The series will return with 10 episodes in 2014, the show’s second season on the cable network after being rescued from NBC.
