Dinosaurs are taking over the world in 2015!

According to “Bleeding Cool News,” Universal Pictures has officially dubbed the upcoming “Jurassic Park 4” as “Jurassic World.”

The film’s plot details are being kept under wraps, but it seems likely that the dinosaurs will somehow be unleashed on the rest of the world and not just those trapped in the park.

Following up the 20th anniversary re-release of the original "Jurassic Park" this year, the Steve Speilberg-produced “Jurassic World” will be released in 3D on June 12, 2015.

In other major film franchise news, according to “Deadline,” the fifth installment in the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise has been pushed back to 2016.

Though it is unlikely that the news is any more than coincidental, Disney has decided to push “Pirates 5” from its July 2015 slot back to summer 2016.

There is speculation that the release date shuffle stems from Disney wanting to distance themselves from Johnny Depp’s disastrous “Lone Ranger,” which lost a great deal of money this summer.

That said, Disney seems to have no desire to end their relationship with Depp, who in addition to the new “Pirates” film will also return for “Alice in Wonderland 2” and their upcoming musical “Into the Woods.
