Julia Roberts was flashing that world-famous smile this week, talking about what she referred to as “the best acting experience of my life.”
The project in question was her upcoming role in “August: Osage County,” for which she attended a panel at the Toronto International Film Festival, according to “Entertainment Weekly.”
The film, based on a play of the same name, tells “the dark, hilarious and deeply touching story of the strong-willed women of the Weston family, whose lives have diverged until a family crisis brings them back to the Midwest house they grew up in, and to the dysfunctional woman who raised them.”
Meryl Streep plays said mother, Violet Weston, while the “Eat Pray Love” actress co-stars as her eldest daughter, Barbara.
Of the experience, Roberts added, “I’ve never worked so hard in my life – and I’ve given birth to three children.”
Even without Streep and Roberts, “August” is overflowing with talent, including Benedict Cumberbatch, Abigail Breslin, Ewan McGregor and Juliette Lewis.
“August: Osage County” will be released on Christmas 2013. What did you think of the trailer? Let us know in the comments!
