The G.I. Joes will live to fight another day!
According to “The Hollywood Reporter,” a third film in the “G.I. Joe” franchise has been greenlit and already has a writer attached.
“Snow White & the Huntsman” scribe Evan Daugherty will take on the new film, with “G.I. Joe: Retaliation” director set to return to helm the threequel.

No further details on the storyline of returning stars for the third installment have yet been announced, but the film will likely film next year for a 2015 release.
