This past weekend marked joyous occasions for two major Hollywood stars.

Both “X-Men” star Patrick Stewart and “Good Wife” actor Josh Charles got hitched to their girlfriends of many years.

First up was Charles, best known for playing Will Gardner on the hit CBS series, which returns for its fifth season this fall. He married Sophie Flack, a ballet dancer-turned-author, in New York on Friday, according to “The Hollywood Reporter.”

The pair’s nuptials reportedly took place at a private residence, preceding a celebration at a high-class Italian restaurant.

According to “Us Weekly,” the 73-year-old Stewart, who will reprise his role as Professor Charles Xavier in the upcoming “X-Men: Days of Future Past,” also tied the knot over the weekend, marrying singer-songwriter Sunny Ozell on Sunday, September 8.

The actor shared the news on Twitter, posting a photo of himself alongside his new bride in a ball pit with the caption, “Yes, married.”

Their wedding was officiated by Stewart’s friend Ian McKellen, who also stars in the “X-Men” franchise as Magneto.

McKellen posted a photo of himself with Stewart and Ozell’s marriage certificate and a t-shirt with “Minister” written on the front.
