Bruno Mars was scored the most “Treasure”-d gig in the entire music industry: the Super Bowl Halftime Show.
On February 2, 2014, the singer will show off his pipes at the Pepsi Super Bowl XLVIII Halftime Show in New York, according to “The Hollywood Reporter.”
Mars has already released a teaser for the highly-anticipated performance, first showing footage of himself as a hammy child impersonating Elvis Presley onstage before launching into a montage of his greatest moments from the past few years.
The “Treasure” singer has had a great few years, from winning a Grammy in 2010 for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance to becoming the fastest male artist to score five No. 1s on the Hot 100 since Elvis himself.
The Super Bowl Halftime show has been taken over by a who’s who in pop culture over the past few years, from Madonna to the Black Eyed Peas and, of course, Beyonce.
