Lance Bass appears to still be riding the high of his *NSYNC reunion at the VMAs last weekend.

The ex-popstar joins a string a stars getting engaged over the Labor Day weekend in New Orleans.

After Lance, 34, proposed to Michael Turchin, his longtime, he tweeted the happy news, writing, “He said YES!!! Love this man.”

The singer shared the story of his engagement on SiriusXM radio, saying that he proposed in his “favorite place,” Jackson Square, but not before getting a little old-fashioned.

“[Michael] is going to be a great husband and the best thing is… he is going to be such a great dad,” he said of his fiancé. “I ama  traditionalist, I’m from Mississippi…I Called [his] parents to ask permission before I proposed yesterday…[and] I told my parents, and they’re all really, really happy.”

The singer later added on Twitter, “Overwhelmed with the amount of love we have been show by all of you. Thank you! So blessed.”
