With the departure of a major cast member, “NCIS” is pulling out the stops in what CBS is calling “the biggest season premiere in ‘NCIS’ history.”
In a teaser for premiere episode, titled "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot," Cote de Pablo’s Ziva should be preparing for an emotional goodbye, but she’s nowhere to be found.
Colin Hanks and Alan Dale ("Lost") return in their recurring roles as Richard Parsons and Homeland Security Director Tom Morrow, respectively.
“TV Guide” reports that De Pablo revealed she would not be returning as a cast member after season 10, but she is set to return in the first two episodes of the new season.
“I’ve had eight great years with ‘NCIS’ and Ziva David,” the actress said in a statement announcing her exit, adding, “I look forward to finishing Ziva’s story.”
The new season of “NCIS” begins on Tuesday, September 24 at 8pm. How do you think the show’s writers will write Ziva out? Leave your suggestions in the comments!
