Though she’s been out of rehab for less than a month, Lindsay Lohan seems to be making a genuine comeback this time.
Since leaving Cliffside, the oft-incarcerated star has guest hosted “Chelsea Lately,” premiered a new film, had a one-on-one with Oprah and signed on for an 8-hour docuseries.
TMZ is now alleging that Lindsay is marking a major return to acting as well, in the form of a possible new comedy series at HBO.
The high school-set series is being developed by comedy star Danny McBride, who stars in the network’s “Eastbound & Down.”
After she filmed a cameo for the show’s final season, reportedly playing the daughter of Danny’s character in a scene set in the future, the star liked working with the “Mean Girls” actress so much he wants to produce a series centered on her.
While no deals have been made, Lindsay reportedly “loves the idea.”
