It was a somber day for Gia Allemand’s family today, as they gathered in New York to mourn the late reality star at her funeral.
Allemand’s family and friends gathered, along with her boyfriend, NBA player Ryan Anderson, at Trinity Grace Church this morning, Radar Online reports.
The ex-“Bachelor” star’s hearse was adorned with flower bouquets and a sign with “GIA” written in pink flowers as well.
In the photos, Anderson, who discovered his girlfriend’s body after her suicide attempt last week, can be seen embracing Allemand’s mother, Donna Micheletti, as the attendees left the church.
Micheletti had previously requested that no cameras or cell phones be brought into the service at Trinity Grace.
According to E! News, Allemand’s mother organized a public viewing for the 29-year-old former reality contestant on Wednesday, August 21 in New York as well.
In a statement obtained by Radar, she said, “[A]fter much consideration by family members to privacy and capacity issues, both days will be open with the intention to welcome family and friends from near and far.”
