“The Counselor” couldn’t do much better than casting Brad Pitt, Cameron Diaz, Penolope Cruz and Michael Fassbender.
The film, written by bestselling author-turned-screenwriter Cormac McCarthy (“The Road”), is described as “a razor-sharp crime story,” the plot of which is being mostly kept under wraps, according to CinemaBlend.
From the trailer, you can see that Fassbender and Cruz play an engaged couple in the film, while a scene-stealing Diaz plays a sociopath who sports a gnarly cheetah-print back tattoo.
Javier Bardem, who also starred as the villain in the film adaptation of McCarthy’s “No Country for Old Men,” returns with another odd hairdo.
The film also stars Goran Visnjic (“ER”), Natalie Dormer (“Game of Thrones”) and “Breaking Bad” star Dean Norris.
“The Counselor” hits theaters on October 25. What did you think of the trailer? Leave your thoughts in the comments section!
