Pretty soon, Kelly Clarkson will have you covered with music for any family event.
After releasing her wedding-friendly anthem, “Tie It Up,” last week, the star has revealed that she will drop her first Christmas album later this year, “USA Today” reports.
“[I’m] super excited to put out my first Christmas record,” Clarkson said in a statement. “I absolutely love Christmas music and have had a total blast recording and writing for it. I can’t wait for y’all to hear it.”
“Wrapped in Red,” as it has been dubbed, will be unveiled on October 29, with an original song called “Underneath the Tree” set as the first single from the album.
Along with a number of originals, the album will include a number of Christmas classics, including “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas,” “Run Run Rudolph” and “Please Come Home for Christmas.”
While “Tie It Up” is not set to appear on any record, Clarkson is set to release her next studio album in early 2014.
