Who would have guessed that Kim Kardashian would be more elusive after giving birth than royalty?
While Kim only finally stepped out for the first time this week after two months away from the public eye, Kate Middleton already introduced baby Prince George to the world, and she herself will be back in public in a matter of weeks.
A Kensington Palace official tells the “Daily Mirror” that Kate has agreed to attend a charity event with hubby Prince William on September 12, only 52 days after giving birth and stepping out on the front steps of St. Mary’s.
“It is a long-standing engagement,” the spokesperson said. The “Mirror” says the royal couple has chosen Kate’s mother, Carole Middleton, to look after the newborn prince, especially considering “how expensive” his Uncle Harry’s babysitting services are.
In the meantime, Kate will likely stay with her parents in Bucklebury, where she and William lived for nearly a month before his paternity leave ended and he returned to work as a search and rescue pilot.
