With star Anna Kendrick’s surprise hit single from the “Pitch Perfect” soundtrack still in the Top 10, it’s no surprise that the actors from the movie is reuniting for more.
In addition to the previously-announced sequel, which is due out in 2015, the gang will reportedly also be getting in the holiday spirit.
Hana Mae Lee, who starred as the barely-audible Lilly in the film, told MTV News that the cast is recording an album of a cappella Christmas carols.
Though little about the holiday record is known, Lee teased that it will include Christmas classics, and she in particular would be taking on the fitting “Silent Night.”
The cast of “Pitch Perfect” took home four surfboards at the Teen Choice Awards last weekend, including Choice Comedy.
Though Rebel Wilson won for Choice Comedy Actress for her role of Fat Amy, Kendrick is probably taking the loss well. Her song “Cups (Pitch Perfect’s When I’m Gone)” is currently #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #10 on iTunes.
