Bethenny Frankel is proving once again that she isn’t afraid to talk about anything, as she is now opening up about the fallout from her divorce from Jason Hoppy and ensuing custody battle.
In a new interview with ABC’s “Nightline,” the ever-honest former reality star said, “I’m going through a brutal, brutal time. It really, really is. I mean, there’s no other way to slice it.”
The ex-Real Housewife and Hoppy ended their relationship, and though she hoped to end things amicably, the fight for custody of their 3-year-old daughter Bryn got ugly.
Frankel says she doesn’t regret letting it play out on camera, but she was hard on herself about the problems in her marriage, as she moved on to star in two “Housewives” spinoffs about her marriage and pregnancy.
“I felt like I disappointed people, because I felt like I was this role model, that represented the fairy tale,” she said. “I’m definitely bruised.”
While she may be bruised emotionally, her frankness will serve her well on her new daytime talk show, "Bethenny," which debuts next month.
