Last night’s finale of “The Bachelorette” was a doozy, with Desiree Hartsock giving the final rose to Chris Siegfried.
Despite the drama of Brooks quitting last week, an emotional Desiree moved on to make her choice between Drew and Chris.
After making her final decision, she accepted Chris’s marriage proposal, saying, “Yes, a thousand times!”
According to the “Daily Mail,” in the live aftershow, Desiree came face-to-face with Brooks, joking, “Actually, after you left it was really good.”
During the special, host Chris Harrison also announced what had previously been rumored: Juan Pablo Galavis has officially been named the new Bachelor.
Though Desiree eliminated Juan Pablo roughly half-way through the season, the fan favorite was hand-picked to take on the role for season 18.
“The Bachelor” will return in early 2014. What do you think of Desiree’s choice? Will Juan Pablo make a good Bachelor? Let us know in the comments!
