Prince William returned to the public eye this weekend for the first time since he and wife Kate Middleton stepped out of a London hospital to unveil the newborn royal baby.
According to “Mirror Online,” William stepped out with brother Prince Harry for a charity polo match. Of his newborn child, Prince George, the royal told the press, “He likes to move around a lot, he wriggles a lot.”
The prince added that it was “good to get out of the house,” though he did say, “I’ve got to make sure I’m not too late back.”
Though William scored the game’s winning point, he said he couldn’t get his mind off his little boy. “I was in baby mode out there, thinking about nappies, I wasn’t really in the zone,” he said.
William, a search-and-rescue pilot, is said to be looking to return from his paternity leave next week. Kate, meanwhile, is not expected to announce her first public appearance since giving birth for several weeks.
