After taking over daytime TV, Ellen DeGeneres is taking over the film industry in a big way.

The beloved “Ellen” host, who hasn’t acted much in recent years outside of voicing Dory in “Finding Nemo” and its upcoming sequel, has signed on to host the next Oscars. According to the "Huffington Post," she shared the news on Twitter, writing:

This will in fact be Ellen’s second time hosting, after previously serving in the role for the 2007 Academy Awards.

“I am so excited to be hosting the Oscars for the second time,” she said in a press release. “You know what they say – the third time’s the charm.”
