Since her start on the “Real Housewives of New York City,” Bethenny Frankel has never been one to hold back her opinions.
With the former reality star about to launch her own daytime talk show, “Bethenny,” this fall, it seems like nothing has changed.
According to “People,” Frankel called out fellow “Housewives” star Teresa Giudice for her recent indictment on 39 charges of financial fraud.
“My first thought today was, ‘Oh, if they weren’t on reality TV, none of this would probably ever be exposed.’ And it’s just funny how certain people are [like a] moth to a flame,” she said in a recent interview to promote her show.
Frankel went on to blame Giudice’s love of fame for her legal troubles, saying, “It’s almost like – not that you want to get caught – but people who love to be in the spotlight often have a lot of skeletons in their closet. It’s just an interesting thing.”
The ex-Housewife added that while she doesn’t feel bad for the Giudice or her husband, she does feel for the couple’s four children.
