Teresa Giudice and her husband are facing jail time after being indicted on 39 counts of financial fraud, but the high-profile lawsuit could cost Bravo a hit show.
The “NY Daily News” reports that the network is considering cancelling “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” in the wake of these allegations against the Giudices.
“Nobody wants to see their talent in this kind of a situation, a Bravo source reportedly told the “Daily News.”
The insider added that Teresa had pitched an idea for a possible “RHONJ” spinoff, but the network has scrapped those plans as well.
Bravo’s programming head honcho Andy Cohen has stayed silent on the issue thus far, but a decision will have to be made as Teresa’s legal saga continues.
For now at least, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” airs Sundays at 8pm on Bravo.
