Lindsay Lohan completed her latest stint in rehab this week, but the actress is now headed to therapy.
No, Lindsay isn’t making a return visit to Charlie Sheen’s “Anger Management.” According to “People,” her clinical team at Cliffside recommended that she be ordered to go to therapy for the next 16 months.
“Our entire clinical team is in unanimous agreement that if these sessions are not required by the court and attendance verified once a month to ensure accountability, it is a set up for almost certain failure,” the team said in a letter to the judge.
When she is out of town, it was suggested that Lindsay should continue her therapy sessions through Skype or by phone.
Lindsay, 27, appeared before the judge today to determine her next steps after completing a 90-day stint in rehab on a court order. “People” adds that the star has previously been in rehab at least six times.
Lindsay Lohan will make her first major public appearance on August 5, when she guest hosts E!’s “Chelsea Lately” in Chelsea Handler’s place.
