The E! Network has announced the premiere date for Ross Mathews’s upcoming late night talk show, “Hello Ross.”

The show “is the new weekly fan destination where intersections of celebrity gossip and pop culture collide, hosted by the world’s biggest super fan himself, Ross Mathews,” according to The Futon Critic.

Ross is a frequent E! contributor, a regular panelist on E!’s own “Chelsea Lately” and has guest hosted for Chelsea Handler a number of times in the past.

“Hello Ross” will kick off on Friday, September 6 at 10pm, with the Joan Rivers-led “Fashion Police” moving up an hour to 9pm.

The hour-long show, which features Joan and co-hosts Kelly Osbourne, Giuliana Rancic and George Kotsiopoulos mashing up fashion and pop culture, will serve as a fitting lead-in for the new talk show.

Ross is the second “Chelsea” comedian to get his own late night spinoff, following Whitney Cummings, whose show “Love You, Mean It” was cancelled by the network earlier this year.

Will you watch “Hello Ross”? Who else from “Chelsea Lately” should have their own show?
