Though actor-turned-politician Arnold Schwarzenegger’s relationship with ex-wife Maria Shriver may have seemed like an odd coupling, just in time for Arnold’s birthday, we’ve thought of five more that still seem just as strange!

Macaulay Culkin and Mila Kunis

One of the most beautiful women in the world and the star of "That '70s Show" and "Family Guy," Mila Kunis, 29, dated beloved “Home Alone” child star Macaulay Culkin, 32, for eight years. Culkin said that his love of ‘Family Guy’ helped start their relationship. During the course of their time together, the two kept their relationship out of the public eye. Regardless of what people might think of the troubled child star, Kunis had many nice things to say about Culkin, even after they split. "There are a lot of things people want him to be that he's not," Kunis continued. "He's an amazing, simple guy, who is probably the most brilliant person I've ever met. He's so, so smart and so aware and so kind and so sweet. Unfortunately, that's not what people want him to be, so they write stuff."

Roger Ebert and Oprah Winfrey

In 1986, now-famous talk show host and the richest woman in America, Oprah Winfrey, 59, dated the late film critic Roger Ebert, who died this year at age 70. During Winfrey’s 20th anniversary program, she announced that Ebert convinced her to syndicate her successful Chicago talk show. While on a dinner date at Hamburger Hamlet, Ebert jotted numbers on a napkin in order to demonstrate how successful her show would do in syndication. On his official website, Ebert discussed their brief romantic relationship and said, “Yes, it is true, I persuaded Oprah to become the most successful and famous woman in the world.” Their romantic relationship soon fizzled out, but Winfrey has noted several times that she owes her career to Ebert.

3.   Marilyn Manson and Evan Rachel Wood

Once upon a time, Evan Rachel Wood, now 25, and the dark-and-brooding Marilyn Manson, 44, were engaged to be married. Wood told People Magazine that she met Manson at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles while the two were “hiding in the corner of a party neither of us wanted to be at.” While dating, Wood said, “It may surprise you just how healthy and loving our relationship is.” Even though they called off the engagement in August 2011, neither star is resentful or has expressed ill feelings toward one another. Since the dissolution of their relationship, Wood married Billy Elliott actor Jamie Bell and is expecting their first child.

4.   Christina Hendricks and Geoffrey Arend

After a number of “odd couple” relationships that didn't work out we have our first winner! The fiery red-haired star of "Mad Men," Christina Hendricks, married actor Geoffrey Arend (“500 Days of Summer”) in 2009. While Hendricks is on FHM’s list of Sexiest Women in the World and some may say that Arend is a tad “unconventional looking” for an actor, Hendricks has said that she was drawn to her now-husband immediately after they were introduced. Now happily married for over 3 years, Hendricks revealed that married life has been "as beautiful as I could have imagined."

5.   50 Cent and Chelsea Handler

Who would ever have imagined the rapper with a tough reputation and the sarcastic talk show host who doesn’t hold anything back would start a romantic relationship together? In October 2011, “Chelsea Lately” host Chelsea Handler briefly dated rapper Curtis James Jackson III, better known by his stage name 50 Cent. Handler, known for her razor-sharp wit, had no problem joking about the relationship shortly after it ended. Despite the rapper’s reputation and their short-lived relationship, Handler told Piers Morgan, “He’s a great guy… he’s the complete antithesis of what you’d imagine. He’s a sweetheart, he’s great, he’s funny, he has a great sense of humor.” Chelsea's NSFW interview with Oprah on the subject:
