Glee” actress Lea Michele has broken her silence about the tragic death of her boyfriend, Cory Monteith.

According to “The Hollywood Reporter,” the young star opened up about the loss of her “Glee” co-star and longtime beau for the first time on her Twitter account this afternoon:

Michele is preparing to return to the set of “Glee” to begin filming for the show’s upcoming fifth season. Though the first two episodes were pre-planned Beatles tributes, creator
Ryan Murphy told TVLine that the third episode will pay tribute to the late star and his character, Finn Hudson.

Monteith died in a Vancouver hotel of “mixed drug toxicity, involving heroin and alcohol.” The cast held a private memorial last week and has honored him in a number of ways since his death on July 13.
