Big news, Oprah fans: the Queen of Daytime is heading back to late night for her first interview with David Letterman in nearly eight years.
Deadline reports that Oprah Winfrey will sit down with Dave for the second time ever to promote her upcoming film, “Lee Daniels’ The Butler.”
“The Butler” stars Forest Whitaker as a butler who served a number of presidents over the years, with Oprah playing his wife.
The duo has had a rocky relationship over the years, with Oprah appearing on his late night talker to promote “The Color Purple” premiering on Broadway.
Oprah will then interview Lindsay Lohan on Sunday, August 18 for “Oprah’s Next Chapter,” after which the starlet will begin filming her eight-hour OWN docuseries.
According to Deadline, she will also interview Hugh Jackman, newlywed Tina Turner and, of course, the cast of “The Butler.”
