“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” hit Comic-Con hard this weekend with an explosive new trailer.
The sneak peek gives fans more of Jennifer Lawrence’s stoic heroine Katniss Everdeen, a deeper look at Donald Sutherland’s eerie President Snow and a brief glimpse at new character Finnick Odair.
As fans of the book series know, the sequel opens with Katniss and Peeta’s (Josh Hutcherson) return home after their Hunger Games victory, before everything quickly goes awry.
Lawrence and Hutcherson were also part of a Comic-Con, where they talked about filming the much-anticipated sequel, Vulture reports.
“The hardest stunt for me is probably still just basic running,” she joked. At one point, Lawrence turned to Hutcherson, asking, “Do you remember when I hit myself in the face so hard with my bow that I flew backwards?”
Later, the actress talked about a puffy dress Katniss wears in “Catching Fire,” taking the opportunity to joke about her infamous fall as she walked on up the stairs to accept her Best Actress Oscar for “Silver Linings Playbook.”
“Wearing it was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done in my life, and you can tell, I think,” she said during the panel. “It was huge. Five feet in circumference. I’m not good at walking in giant dresses, as we know.”
“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” will be released on November 22.
