Taylor Swift
released a new single called “Everything Has Changed” this summer with tour pal Ed Sheeran, but when it comes to her feud with Kanye West, it seems like time has changed nothing at all.

The Huffington Post” reports that after scoring two VMA nods yesterday, the songstress took to Twitter, referencing that infamous moment four years ago when rapper West interrupted her acceptance speech. Taylor tweeted:

Taylor wrote about the upcoming show again this afternoon, adding that she feels lucky to be “representing the girls” in the male-dominated Video of the Year category.

The singer was accepting her award for Best Female Video at the 2009 MTV VMAs, when West stormed the stage and grabbed the mic to voice his objection.

“I’m sorry, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time!” West stated at the time, referring to Bey’s “Single Ladies” music video.

The 2013 MTV Video Music Awards will air on Sunday, August 25, and you can find Taylor on Twitter @taylorswift13.

Is Taylor right to still be holding on to her anger or is it time to let it go? Let us know in the comments!
