Jane Lynch sat down with “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” last night, but the mood during the interview was a little more somber than usual.
Lynch choked up as she opened up about the loss of “Glee” star Cory Monteith, telling Jay, “Cory’s one of the biggest hearts, he was a real bright light.”
“He knew he was breathing rarefied air. The gifts that this wonderful show gave us,” Lynch added. “He was a real bright light in our family. We’ve lost a really great guy.”
Another of Monteith’s co-stars, Dianna Agron, joined the growing number of “Glee” actors speaking out about their late friend’s tragic death.
“Cory is so deserving of that place in everyone’s hearts. He was one of the most generous and kind people I’ve ever met,” she said, adding, “My heart goes out to his family, to everyone that is struggling with the loss of our friend. We will miss you Cory. We will always carry a piece of you with us.”
