George Clooney and Stacy Keibler have called it quits!
After teasing that the couple’s relationship was on the rocks, TMZ is reporting today that Clooney and Keibler are officially over.
According to the gossip site yesterday, the couple’s relationship was hanging on by a thread but that they were still living together.
Rumor has it that their different work schedules are responsible for the split. Keibler, 33, is busy hosting an upcoming reality series for Lifetime called “Supermarket Superstars,” while Clooney is about to film a new movie and will be consumed with press for his upcoming film “Gravity,” also starring Sandra Bullock.
Still, "People" reports that the breakup was anything but ugly. A source told the publication that there are no hard feelings between the former couple.
“They talk every day,” the source told People. “They were friends before they started dating and they’ll be friends after. It was a friendly [breakup].”
According to the article, it was Keibler who broke up with the 52-year-old movie star and not the other way around.
“Stacy called it quits. She wants to have children and a family someday,” the source added. “She knows where George stands on that. They talked and they quietly stopped being a couple weeks ago.”
