Hot off her Oscar-winning turn in "Silver Linings Playbook," Jennifer Lawrence is excited to jump into an all-new role: producer.
The 22-year-old actress has signed on to produce her first film, "The Rules of Interitance," with Silver Linings Playbook producer Bruce Cohen. She is also set to star in the upcoming drama.
"Rules" is an adaptation of Claire Bidwell Smith’s memoir, a coming-of-age story centered on a 14-year-old girl who discovers that her parents have both been diagnosed with.
In another reunion for the young starlet, the film will be directed by Susanne Bier, who also helmed the upcoming drama "Serena," in which Lawrence plays the title role. Abi Morgan, who wrote the award-winning "The Iron Lady," will write the script.
Lawrence will next return on-screen this fall in Serena, which is due out in late September. Then "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire," the sequel to last year’s box office smash, "The Hunger Games," hits theaters on November 22.
