Don Kelley is Vice President of MAGIC 106.7 and Director of Programming. An 19-year veteran of the station, he is the longest tenured programmer of any station in Boston. In addition to his duties handling the day-to-day programming of MAGIC 106.7, Don also works with Greater Media sister stations MAGIC 105.1 in Detroit and MAGIC 98.3 in New Jersey.

In his spare time Don is President of Wellesley Girls Softball (grades 6-8) and has been Assistant Softball Coach at Wellesley High School. He is also conducting a World Tour of Major League Ballparks. To date, he's been to games at 31 of them.

    Popcorn, of course. A movie without popcorn is like a car without a radio.

    I don't read magazines that much. I read novels. Robert B. Parker, Elmore Leonard, John Grisham. 

What TV show would you like a role on? (past or present):
  The Sopranos. Or Curb Your Enthusiasm. 
What was the worst job you ever had?
  I've always worked at radio stations. I've never had a bad job. 
What 5 CD's would you take on a cross country ride?
  I wouldn't bring any CD's. I'd listen to radio stations. 
What is your method of relaxation?
  Swimming. Also going to different Major League ballparks. I've seen every major league team and have been to games at 29 different ballparks.  
What was your most embarrassing radio moment?
  A really stupid promotion where people called in and made gobble sounds so they could win a turkey. I had to take a tape of the gobble sounds to a turkey farm and play them to real turkeys. If the turkey laughed, you won. Turkeys don't laugh.  
What would you do if you weren't on the radio?
  Play left field for the Red Sox.  
If you could meet one person, dead or alive, who would it be?
  I'd have to go with Jesus. 
What's the best advice you've ever been given?
  My Father always said.."Never let the truth stand in the way of a good story!"
