Connecticut native Candy O'Terry is an honors graduate of Boston College. A singer since childhood, Candy recorded and released two Jim Brickman songs for radio airplay this year; "The Gift" with David Corey and "Valentine". She has also performed with Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops! She segued into radio by singing jingles and landed a temporary job at MAGIC in 1990. That job became permanent and Candy worked her way up the ranks to become the station's Assistant Program Director. She swims every day and runs a swimming program for 400 children in the summertime. Candy is a mother of two: Christopher, an EMT special services police officer; and Colleen, a publicist for Civetta Comunicazioni.

	Running into the on-air studio to do a traffic & weather report and realizing I brought my grocery list instead!
What would you do if you weren't on the radio?
	Teach pre-school in the morning, and teach swim lessons for kids in the afternoon.
If you could meet one person, dead or alive, who would it be?
	My mom. She's been dead since I was a teenager, and we have a lot of catching up to do.
What's the best advice you've ever been given?
	Have faith. When God closes a door, He opens a window.
