A thought provoking show for people of faith...

Posted 1/29/2013 7:21:00 PM

This Saturday night, Michael Mack will perform his one-man show at the Paulist Center in Boston on a very serious topic.    Written and performed by Michael, the show is called:  "Conversations....:A Journey of Faith".

It is a very thought ful presentation about a serious topic, that will have you thinking long after you leave the performance. The Globe wrote this about his show:

http://www.bostonglobe.com/arts/2012/03/27/conversations-with-molester-confronting-memories-abuse/WyZyzUk7qxqAwinDvqCxfJ/story.html?camp=pm

Mack began performing “Conversations With My Molester: A Journey of Faith,’’ a lyric spoken-word piece about his experience with the priest, his struggles, and what happened after that Google search.

“Conversations’’ offers his discomforting, though not graphic, account of what happened to him at the church in Brevard, N.C., which he says took away that dream and haunted him throughout his life. He says that he found the priest was living in Massachusetts and had been accused of similar abuse by at least two others.

Do you like Thai food...?

Over the weekend I found a great new Thai restaurant up in Newburyport!

You should try it out, or even make a special trip for it.

The owners are super nice, the menu choices are interesting (Thai) and the food is always delicious!

Here is a the review in the Boston Globe: http://www.boston.com/ae/food/restaurants/articles/2012/07/01/bright_thai_flavors_in_new_newburyport_hot_spot/

Avenue Q!

Posted 5/19/2012 12:12:00 PM

I am heading off to see "Avenue Q" this weekend at the Lyric Stage.

Don't know quite what to expect, but people I know who have seen it have raved and said: "You're GOT to see this show".

Even the Boston Globe liked it!

It will be there thru June 24th.

Interested?

(I hope to have a full report afterwards!)
