SALES ASSISTANT
(Full-time)
Greater Media Boston’s Magic 106.7 is looking for a Sales Assistant.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Working directly with salespeople to develop PowerPoint proposals and promotional packages;
• Typing copy, pitches and various other correspondence for sales staff;
• Maintain sales media kits and support materials;
• Daily client interaction, in addition to other administrative duties;
• Attend department meetings and maintain minutes;
• Perform all other duties assigned by the Local and General Sales Managers;
• Position will interact with most departments of the radio station, with an emphasis on Sales, Promotions and Traffic. Interaction will involve working with managers and salespeople, as well as clients (agency and direct).
Requirements:
• Excellent organization and interpersonal skills;
• The ability to juggle multiple tasks with excellent follow-through;
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Microsoft Photo Editor.
Education/Experience Level:
• High school graduate;
• At least two (2) years office experience;
• Prior media industry experience a plus.

Greater Media Boston – Internship Program
The Internship Program for
MAGIC 106.7 and Greater Media Boston sister stations 105.7 WROR, WKLB 102.5, 96.9 WTKK and 92.9 WBOS is a non-salaried position which is designed to give students hands-on experience with the various aspects of major market radio stations. The program is available to college students, working for class credit, who are able to work 10-15 hours per week for twelve weeks. Interns are trained and supervised by the department manager for the particular station(s) you are assigned (i.e. Sales, Promotions/Programming, Business Administration, Engineering).
Interns must be resourceful and willing to initiate projects. Good communication skills and attention to detail are important.
